MindBook ("we," "us," or "our") is a product of AI Horizon Knowledge Strategies LLC (DBA AHK Strategies). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use MindBook — the AI Thinking Partner platform available at themindbook.app and mindbook.app (the "Platform").

By using MindBook, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not access the Platform.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, job title, industry, geographic region, and your responses to onboarding questions. This data is used to configure your personal AI Council.

Content You Create

MindBook stores your journal entries, council sessions, council responses, time capsules, and any other content you create within the Platform. This content is private by default and encrypted at rest.

Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage analytics such as page views, feature usage patterns, and session duration to improve the Platform experience.

MindBook uses AI language models (including Claude by Anthropic) to power your Council of advisors. When you submit a question to your Council:

• Your question and relevant profile context are sent to AI providers
• AI responses are generated and stored in your account
• We do not use your content to train AI models
• AI providers process your data per their own privacy policies

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled. This means:

• Your data is accessible only to you (unless you explicitly share it)
• All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
• We implement industry-standard security measures
• We regularly audit our security practices

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only:

• With AI service providers to generate Council responses (under strict data processing agreements)
• If required by law, regulation, or legal process
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of MindBook, our users, or others

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Export your data at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Withdraw consent at any time

MindBook uses minimal cookies and local storage to maintain your session, remember your theme preference (light/dark mode), and ensure the Platform functions correctly. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

MindBook is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. The Terms of Service require users to be at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover that a person under 18 has created an account, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
